Often people ask me what my highest note is. To tell you the truth, I have no idea. First of all, I do not read notes, so I cannot tell you what note that is upon hearing it. Secondly, my highest note changes from day to day. It's like your hair. Sometimes when you wake up, your fringe is doing its anti-gravity thing. And it stays that way the whole day unless you weigh it down with gel or something. Thankfully the next day it decides to behave but then when u tie your hair back you notice that your ponytail isn't quite the shape you want. It's like that with my voice. Some days it sounds perfect singing Ave Maria. Other days I ace my Bonnie Tyler impersonation.
Even the tone of my whistle register (if that's what you call you it) differs every time. Some days it is louder and more piercing than others. But when you sing often enough, you find your way around this by manipulating the vocal cords to achieve the tone/notes/sound you want. All in all, it's a lot of fun!
